Getz Bros. & Co., Inc. is an international marketing & services company in over 50 offices in 25 countries around the world today. The origin of the company goes way back to 1860 when Joseph & Max Getz emigrated from Eastern Europe to the United States with his 2 brothers. They then started with a small general store in California by selling local products to farmers in and around the San Francisco area. Later they started exporting goods to China and India. Business expanded and around the turn of the century, Getz Bros. opened offices in Shanghai and then in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South-East-Asia. More followed and now it's major offices cover the whole of Asia/Pacific region.

Over the years, Getz Bros, grew in size and reputation with mergers and acquisitions. New ventures and businesses developed because of growing collaboration with business partners. The company's activities covered a wide spectrum - from building, furniture, furnishings, industrial, medical devices & equipment, pharmaceuticals to consumer products. Their presence extended to more and more countries with a worldwide staff and infrastructure that included sales offices, representative offices, warehousing, distribution and production facilities.
