Reducing dirt, dust and grit brought in by human traffic into public buildings has always been a bit problem for the maintenance staff.
Getz (Singapore) has in some ways helped to reduce their problem by supplying special entrance mats that are able to remove a very high degree of dirt and grit from peoples’ footwear. Though the problem cannot be completely solved, these mats placed in strategic positions at the entrance trap dirt and grit and sieve them to the bottom of the mat/recess until cleared by the cleaners.
